Abstract
One of the country's economic problems is the dependence on oil revenues and the lack of diversification of economic activities. Tourism is one of the economic activities that, in addition to value, create a lot of employment, especially for young people. Rural tourism is one of the types of tourism that utilizes village features such as structure and architecture, natural attractions, local products and handicrafts to attract tourists. The aim of this study was to identify internal and external factors and entrepreneurship strategies in rural tourism in Qom province. The present research is applied, exploratory and survey. In order to conduct research in the first stage, internal and external factors were identified through a review of the background and interviews with research experts. Then the nature of these factors was determined by weakness, strength, opportunity and threat. After identifying the most important internal and external factors, rural tourism entrepreneurship strategies in Qom province were presented in four parts as Aggressive Strategies (SO), Review Strategies (WO), Diversity Strategies (ST) and Defensive Strategies (WT).
