The energy portfolio in Iran relies on natural gas and has less diversity in comparison of other countries. Given that natural gas is the main source of the country's energy, it is more sensitive to changes than other energy sectors, so it is necessary to create a common understanding of the future in order to effectively benefit from opportunities and confront threats. in areas Technological, geopolitical, economic, political, security, demographic Uncertainties and weak signals can sometimes create major changes in the future of Iran's gas industry, and in this regard achieving desirable future in these VUCA conditions requires scenario planning as one of the most important methods of futures Studies. Energy accessibility in a sustainable with and reliable manner is a driver of the country's development, So energy security is important and seems has a dynamic concept,so it is essential to evaluate impact of gas industry scenarios on ES. On the other hand, in an area of uncertainty, appropriate strategies will require consideration of Robustness. The methodology of this paper is applied type, qualitative approach and based on the narrative review method. Data collection was carried out through background research and library studies. In this article, research related to scenario planning in the Iran gas industry, energy security, and robust strategies is reviewed and the necessity of integrating them as a Futuristic, comprehensive, and practical framework is proposed, with the aim of reducing previous research gaps and improving applicability in practice
